[October 4th, 2007]What is wrong with people? Srsly.
I was at work cleaning up the children’s department, aka Disaster Zone, and I decide to stack the chairs so people take a hint - it’s ten minutes to closing time and they are still looking at books they aren’t going to buy.

I really hate kids. And their parents.

Lovely drawing! I like kids, most of them - it’s the parents that I don’t like - sometimes.
Lol. That is so cute Lene. I hate little spoiled brats and their parents. Grrr.
You should make more picture blogs. Actually, can I dare you to post your next blog with nothing apart from your funny pictures?
Lmao, after kids reach a certain age, they stop looking cute and start being annoying :P
Ugh. What I hate is when parents expect YOU to look after THEIR kids. One time when I was working at a department store, I was the cashier, and we were CLOSED, as in, lights off. But there was one guy there, with his kid, and he kept leaving and being like “I just have to grab this one thing,” and then taking 10 minutes, and then coming back! So, I had to watch his kid for, like, 30 minutes, which makes ME liable if anything were to happen! It was dumb.
Well, if he falls off and breaks his neck, you can at least celebrate the beauty of natural selection.
>.>
I could not agree more. Customers are bad enough… but kids? Nightmare.
LOL. His mother should have been watching him- but there is something about a stack of chairs that says, “Climb up me.”
I love the drawing.
Children = Hellspawn!!
I don’t like kids. Sure, they can be smart and cute sometimes… but are they *really* worth my (already-hanging-by-a-thread) sanity? I don’t think so.
And PARENTS! Even worse than kids, for sure.
LMAOO… so so typical. The irony of that!
I totally agree with Robmarie’s first sentence. I WILL NEVER HAVE CHILDREN. Only cats. Will become a cat lady. Except that I’m allergic, so maybe I’ll just have dogs.
I remember when I worked at a craft store, there was this woman who kept us all there 30 minutes after closing because OhMyGOSH is this the right color? Because I think I need to go back and get the other one. Can I go back and get the other one? Can you show me? Which do you use? WAIT WAIT, this is the wrong one. I have to go back! …. 30 minutes of THAT. So irritating.
I used to always jump on chairs… :) Well, they let me of course. Psh. I don’t really want kids either. I mean… I’ll have to potty train them, teach them to talk, teach them to walk, and all those other parent-y things. Bleh.
THANK YOU for including a picture. Pictures really help me to understand the gist of the blog. haha
Microsoft Paint? lol, I like the drawing! I like to go in stores, and look at books that I don’t plan to buy too… But, I’m out of there way before closing.
Kids and parents get on my nerves sometimes too.
Hahaha, that’s such a cute drawing :P
I hate kids, and I cringe whenever someone wails on why I don’t have a specific type of Happy Meal toy. Not my fault kid, I just work there. Ugh, customers are just too annoying sometimes…
I love children =].
But yeah, it bugs the mess out of me when parents are not properly looking after their children… they let them do whatever they want and it seems like they don’t give two pennies if their child is on the brink of getting hurt!
Saying “We’re going to be closing in a few minutes, so please bring your final purchases up to the desk soon” isn’t enough to get people to leave. It’s annoying.
