A puppy and “red” hair.
We got a puppy! It was really hard to give him a name, not because we couldn’t think of one, but because we had so many names to pick from! Here are some names we considered: Pedro, Dracula, Monster, Zac Efron, Satan, Hitler, Cicero, Zeus, Artemis, Chuck Noland, Chuck Norris, Chuck Bass, Chuckie, Bob, Tom, Spike, Godzilla, Mamoru, Akira, Patrick, Dog, Cat, Jesus Christ, God, Hole, Tom Cruise, Elmo… and so many others.
We finally named him Diego Velázquez, after the Spanish painter (If you are Puerto Rican then you probably know there is an inside joke behind that and that it has nothing to do with the painter). We just call him Dieguito.

Today I also dyed my hair. It was supposed to turn out red, or at least red-ish, but it didn’t. I guess they were not lying when they told me black hair dye is REALLY hard to get rid off. So now my hair is of a weird color that I can’t describe. See for yourself:

Oh crap… I’m not familiar with the Diego Velázquez joke, and this saddens me (as long as it doesn’t have to do with the Daddy Yankee movie or something along those lines… *shudder*). The puppy is too cute, though!! *squee and hugs*
Black hair dye is the PITS. I dyed my hair jet black for about two years… and then I wanted to go blond, heh. My beautician bleached my hair, only after repeatedly wishing for my death and reminding me every 2 minutes of how I should NEVER do that again (I should dye it “very dark brown” next time I feel like becoming a brunette). Even after the bleach, my hair turned into this reddish-orange-WTF mix which took 2 more dyes for it to FINALLY turn honey blond. All in all, my beautician was a pro and it turned out great, but it was a hassle and I will never do it again!
I’m dying to dye my hair red :D It’s such a high maintenance color, though… I’m waiting until I have a steady flow of income for me to go through with it.
Red hair is awesome. *points at bangs* It fades pretty quickly, though - like Robmarie said, super high-maintenance.

I’m SO GLAD you didn’t name him Zac Efron. :P I’d look bad with red hair. Though it wasn’t the colour that you wanted, it still looks good on you. :P

And I think your hair looks awesome. At least it didn’t turn out orange (which is what my hair did when I dyed it red the summer before 7th grade, but luckily it faded, lol).

Ayyy, Dieguito está para comérselo! Que chiquitito es. Me parece un Rottweiler, no? Si es así, yo tambien tengo uno, Bruno. Solo tiene 5 meses y es más grande que yo (no que eso sea mucho decir, por algo me dicen la shortie).
Si no has tenido perro antes te enamorará lo leales, protectores y cariñosos que son esta raza de perros. No hay manera de no adorarlos. :)

I used to have my hair subtly dark reddish like that and I liked it a lot. :D I think it looks nice on you, I bet in the sunlight it bounces off the red!
