[November 6th, 2008]Regarding your concerns
When I see my search engine referrals, most of the “keywords” worry me. Apparently most of my visitors who get here via search engines are going through an existential crisis of some sort or having painful worries about a particular subject.
I’m sure whoever searched for searched for “ovarian cyst when to see doctor no insurance” didn’t find any help on this site. I wish I could have helped, but quite honestly, I wouldn’t know how to.
So how about I try to answer some of those “concerns” now? Perhaps someone else who gets here searching for that will leave more pleased. Or at least slightly more amused. Or angry. Whatever.
Note: I got this list of concerns from the “Recent keyword activity” section of my statcounter.
- “signs of growing old”
You are always growing old. Always, even right now. Time is passing, you’re dying. That’s the first sign. I talked about other “signs” in an older post. - “what happened to xoxmariah”
Ok. sometimes people get tired / bored of running a website, and sometimes they just don’t have the time to keep it running. You are not missing anything with that site gone though. That site was mostly known for its tutorials, but those were ultra turdy (ask Jem) and the Internet is better off without them. There are much better sites for learning how to code, for example, W3 Schools. - “is Obama the Antichrist”
No. He’s not. I am :D - “what do big cysts look like”
Like this:

Hands and feet disappear because your cyst needs that skin to grow. You must trust me because I’m a bio major! - “how to know when a guy loses interest”
Most of the time you just know if he’s interested or not. You probably know how “being interested” looks and feels like. If those signs of interest disappear or reverse, then his interest probably did too. Pretty much like Hess’s law [/nerd]. - “how to declutter a web site”
Get rid of all the crap, really. It’s not doing any good. My pleasure to guide you. - “i’m so alone at lunch at school”
School is a complicated playground. If you don’t mind the “fame” you might get, why don’t join an adult for lunch? A teacher / a librarian / a janitor? Maybe they’re lonely too. If you don’t want to do that, then you have to go the hard way. Make a friend. Join someone who looks lonely at lunch. Maybe they don’t want company, but maybe they do. It helps if an interesting conversation sparks up. - “definition of consistency of thought”
Ok so, you know what consistency is? and you know what thougths are? Put those together. That’s what it means. It means your thoughts are consistent. Duh-worthy example: Your thoughts about an issue today are the same or in agreement with your thoughts about that same issue yesterday. But circumstances tend to change, and inevitably so do our thoughts. Don’t sweat it. - “how is chupacraba pronounced”, “parents attacked by chupacabra”
a) Say it as if you were reading it in English, but the u sound like the oo in zoo and all the a’s sound like in father. Oh and roll the r, please. ChupacabRa.
b) Chupa = suck, Cabra = goat. Chupacabra = goatsucker. The chupacabra kills goats (and other animals) by sucking out their blood. In human-world, we have vampires. So you might want to do a search on “parents attacked by a vampire”.
Well, this was hell of an informative post, wasn’t it? :P

LOL!! What an original way to address your search engine referral’s concerns :P I especially like the chupacabra one! (I agree — s/he might want to search vampires for his particular concern :D) As for me, I wouldn’t know what keywords bring people to my site, but sometimes I think I’d rather not know. I would freak out if I saw my actual name out there, or something XD
Aww, #7 is so sad. :(
ROFL Lene!
I now demand that you include a pictue with every post. :P That cyst one is amazing!
rofl i saw “xoxmariah” and thought it was some kind of porn site. XD
Hahaha, that was highly amusing. :)
It’s a good thing you got that cyst thing cleared up :P
So far I get alot of Charmed and Tattoo search results. It’s rare granted I know that they aren’t really going to find what they are looking for at my site it’s interesting to see the what people are searching for and what hits your site.
